As one of the Official Competition Locations, we helped lots of local students to get a solid knowledge base and were psychologically well prepared for the contests with achievement, honor, and distinguishment over the years.

We are recruiting students to register for the below contests and we will provide Mock Test & Preparation!

 

The Canadian Mathematical Society (CMS)

A Canadian math competition that was created in 2020 to reach younger students. The CJMC is open to students in grades K-8, with questions based primarily on grade 5-8 curriculum. This competition has been created by mathematicians from across Canada.

Canada Lynx Mathematical Competition (CLMC)

The Canada Lynx Mathematical Competition is the CMS’ newest competition, with the first CLMC set to take place on September 28th, 2023. It is open to students K – 12. It is based off of the Canadian grade 7 to 11 math curriculum. This competition is meant to make math fun and engaging for students, while also serving as a great way for teachers to assess their students math level at the beginning to the year.

Canadian Open Mathematics Challenge (COMC)

The Canadian Open Mathematics Challenge (COMC) is Canada’s premier national mathematics competition open to any student with an interest in and grasp of high school math. It is also the first exam on the road to the International Mathematical Olympiad. The purpose of the COMC is to encourage students to explore, discover, and learn more about mathematics and problem solving. The competition serves to provide teachers with a unique student enrichment activity during the fall term. The COMC is the first step on the road to the IMO!

 

American Mathematics Competition (MAA AMC)

The MAA’s American Mathematics Competitions (MAA AMC) program leads the nation in strengthening the mathematical capabilities of the next generation of problem-solvers. The MAA AMC program 

helps America’s educators identify talent and foster a love of mathematics through classroom resources and friendly competition. The MAA AMC program positively impacts the analytical skills needed for future careers in an innovative society. The American Mathematics Competitions are a series of examinations and curriculum materials that build problem-solving skills and mathematical knowledge in middle and high school students.

American Mathematics Competition 8 (AMC 8)

The AMC 8 provides an opportunity for middle school students to develop positive attitudes towards analytical thinking and mathematics that can assist in future careers.

Possible topics include but are not limited to counting and probability, estimation, proportional reasoning, elementary geometry including the Pythagorean Theorem, spatial visualization, everyday applications, and reading and interpreting graphs and tables.

AMC 8 Competition Date: January 18, 2024 at 8:00 AM through January 24, 2024 at 11:59 PM

American Mathematics Competition 10/12 (AMC 10/12)

The AMC 10 is for students in 10th grade and below and covers the high school curriculum up to 10th grade.

The AMC 12 covers the entire high school curriculum, including trigonometry, advanced algebra, and advanced geometry, but excluding calculus. Students in grade 12 or below and under 19.5 years of age on the day of the contest can take the AMC 12.

The AMC 10/12 provides an opportunity for high school students to develop positive attitudes towards analytical thinking and mathematics that can assist in future careers.

AMC 10/12 A Competition Date: November 8, 2023 from 8:00 am to 11:59 pm

AMC 10/12 B Competition Date: November 14, 2023 from 8:00 am to 11:59 pm

Euclid Mathematics Contest

Taking place in April, the Euclid contest gives senior-level secondary school students in their final year the opportunity to tackle novel problems with creativity and all of the knowledge they’ve gained in secondary school mathematics. The contest’s mix of short-answer and full-solution questions provide participants with an opportunity to effectively communicate their thinking.
