As Academic Director of Maverick Learning Center, my passion lies in guiding students to not only master academic concepts but also develop confidence, clarity of thought, and the ability to express themselves effectively. With extensive experience as a Math and Science educator, I have had the privilege of teaching Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, while also working closely with students as a public speaking trainer to help them communicate ideas with confidence and purpose.

My academic journey has been deeply interdisciplinary. I earned a B.Sc. in Neuroscience from the University of Toronto, followed by an M.S. in Bioengineering from Queen’s University. This foundation allows me to bridge analytical thinking with real-world problem solving, and to help students understand not just what they are learning, but why it matters.

At Maverick, I am committed to building rigorous yet supportive learning environments where curiosity is encouraged, critical thinking is cultivated, and students feel empowered to ask questions and challenge themselves. I believe that strong academic skills, when paired with effective communication and self-confidence, prepare students not just for exams, but for life beyond the classroom.

It is a privilege to work alongside families and educators who share a common goal: helping students grow into thoughtful, capable, and confident individuals ready to navigate an ever-changing world.

Throughout my teaching journey, I have seen how students thrive when they are supported academically while also being encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and speak with confidence. At Maverick, I am committed to creating a learning environment that challenges students intellectually while nurturing their curiosity, resilience, and self-belief. Whether in the sciences or through public speaking, my goal is to help students build the skills and habits that will serve them far beyond the classroom.
