OCC & CYCC 2026 Double Qualifier Tournaments Registration
Event Address: Maverick Learning Centre @ 1020 Denison St. Suite 205, Markham, ON L3R 3W5
Event Schedule: 5 rounds in total for every tournament: 1st round starting at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday
Feb 8th, Mar 22nd and Apr 12th (OCC and CYCC Double Qualifier grouped by age). Refreshments are provided. Parents waiting area is available.
Sections: U8, U10, U12, U14, U16, U18
Rating: CFC Rated Rapid & CMA Rated
Time Control: Game in 25 minutes plus 5 seconds delay per move (Bronstein)
Fees: Special welcome to the world of chess rate – $25 for new comers.
$50 for 1, $90 for 2, $120 for all 3 tournaments. All Maverick Chess Club members have a 10% discount. (Please eTransfer to MaverickLearning.ca@gmail.com and put the player’s name as note)
Prizes: Medals for top 3 players of each category
Every registered player gets a lucky draw prize.
• Clocks and chess sets will be supplied.

Saturday 4:30-6:00 PM for CFC rating under 1200 (By IA Uttam)
Saturday 5:00pm- 6:30pm for CFC rating 1200-1600 (By William)
